Abstract: This paper generalizes classics fuzzy set’s level-sets and defines type-2 fuzzy set’s level-sets, makes use of support vector machine and type-2 fuzzy set’s level-sets to classify type-2 fuzzy sets. Experimental results show fuzzy support vector machine based on type-2 fuzzy set’s level-sets can effectively handle fuzzy information of type-2 fuzzy sets and is more robust than traditional fuzzy support vector machine.
