摘要: 小波因具有多尺度特性和良好的局部特性,在医学图像的压缩中取得了较好压缩的效果。但是,小波由单个尺度函数生成,不能同时满足对称性、正交性等的缺陷,存在应用上的局限性。因而,本文提出基于多小波的医学图像压缩方案,实验结果表明,其PSNR值得到了较大的提高,且具有更好的主观视觉效果。

Abstract: Due to locality and multiscale of wavelet transform, the wavelet transform can be applied to the medical image compression and get good performance. However, since it generated by single scaling function, it cannot be collected in orthogonality and symmetry at the same time. So this paper proposes the multi-wavelet theory on medical image compressing. The experiment results show that it performs better than wavelet in the aspects of perception and PSNR. 
