Algorithm of Salt and Pepper Noise Reduction Based on Noise Analysis

摘要: 针对传统的中值滤波降噪方法不能有效去除图像中的椒盐噪声,提出基于噪声分析的椒盐噪声降噪处理方法。算法根据椒盐噪声仅仅改变图像部分像素值为0和255、其余像素并未改变的特点,首先判断图像的噪声点和信号点,针对噪声点,统计邻域中信号的个数,然后根据信号的个数决定采用某个邻域的中值去代替噪声点,从而达到去除椒盐噪声的目的。仿真实验表明,该算法能有效去除图像的椒盐噪声并较好地保留图像的边缘细节信息。

Abstract: In view of the traditional median filtering reduction method little effect on removing salt and pepper noise of image, we proposed a method of reduction based on noise analysis. According to the characteristics of salt and pepper noise changing only the pixels portion of the image values of 0 and 255, the remaining pixels not, this method determines the noise and signal points of image. For the noise points, it calculates the number of signal in the neighborhood, and then decides to use the median of some neighborhood to replace it according to the number in order to remove the salt and pepper noise points. Simulation results show that the algorithm can effectively remove salt and pepper noise and preserve the edge details of image.
