Key Technologies of Low-cost Individuation Manufacturing Prototype System

摘要: 传统制造业一般基于大规模生产方式,个性化产品生产成本较高。利用低成本三维扫描、三维打印技术,提出一套低成本的个性化制造原型系统。该系统首先利用深度相机采集个性化几何数据、对数据去噪配准、生成较高质量的重建网格;上传用户信息,进行个性化产品在线设计;最后利用家用三维打印设备或在线三维打印服务进行制作。为了验证提出的方案,实现了眼镜架个性化设计与制造原型系统。

Abstract: Traditional manufacturing industries are generally based on massive production and the cost of individuation manufacturing is pretty high. Based on low-price devices of 3D scanning and 3D printing, an individuation manufacturing prototype system is presented. First, the personalized 3D shape is captured by using depth camera. The captured data from different views are denoised and registered, and a qualified mesh is generated by surface reconstruction. The personalized data are then sent to the designer for individuation product design. The generated model is sent back and the product can be manufactured by the user’s device or online 3D printing service. The proposed method is verified by the case of design and manufacture of personalized spectacle frame.
