    A New Kind of Particle Swarm Optimization Algorithm

    The particle swarm optimization algorithm is a kind of intelligent optimization algorithm. This algorithm has some demerits, such as relapsing into local optima, slow convergence velocity and low convergence precision in the late evolutionary. A new algorithm, based on the new update equations, is proposed to overcome the demerits of the basic particle swarm optimization. Six benchmark functions are tested and the experimental results show that the new algorithm not only significantly speeds up the convergence, but also effectively solves the premature convergence problem.

    The dynamic mode of a microquadrotor is considered and deducted according to the Newton’s law of mechanics and Euler equation, so the dynamic model of the microquadrotor is built. According to the dynamic model of the microquadrotor, a control system is devised. The whole control system is separated into two parts, namely the inner loop controlangular rotations control) by the Expert PID and the out loop controltranslational position control)by the classic PID, and designs each of them respectively. The simulation results show that with this control method, the quadrotor can reach the target position accurately and keep its stabilization when hovering.

    The performance evaluation of weapon systems is multiple attribute decisionmaking problems. The descriptions and judgments on weapon systems are usually linguistic and fuzzy. To overcome these problems, from specification data of weapon systems and the opinions of many experts, this paper builds a judgment criterion for weapon systems and fuzzy function based on the method of fuzzy multiple attribute decision making. First of all, the weighted alternative vector is projected onto the ideal solution space, and then the negative ideal solution is also projected onto the alternative vector. On the basis of the two vector projections, a relative closeness degree of alternative and ideal solution is defined to rank all the decision alternatives. An example of evaluating the performance of mortar is given for demonstration.

    Rational efficient collocation of personnel in the task of supporting airborne ammunition belongs to optimization problem based on many constraints. On the base of establishing the model of support personnel collocation, genetic algorithm is used to solve the model by describing it logically with the operation factors and the number of support personnel, and the most optimized collocation scheme are received. Simulation result of an example shows that the model is correct and the algorithm is efficient.

    To solve the problem of the SVR(Support Vector Regression) automatic model selection, this paper presents an optimal approach based on a gradient descent algorithm for model parameters of a support vector machine for regression. This paper gets the local optimal model parameter by minimizing the model selection criteria R2w2 using a gradient descent algorithm over the set of parameters. Based on the Riemannian geometry, a conformal transformation suitable for SVR is proposed and kernel function is modified in a datadependent way. The general ability is further enhanced as a result. Simulated results show that the approach is very effective.

    Semantic similarity computation is a key issue of computer in natural language processing, while it is clearly not reasonable when only considering the single factor of distance. By analyzing the concept of network depth and density factors on the impact of similarity calculation, an improved similarity measure of multiple factors is proposed. Experimental results show that the concept of network according to the distribution node to adjust the ratio of each factor, which makes the results of similarity calculations more reasonable and judgmental.

    In order to remove noise from a speech and improve the speech quality, this paper presents an improved spectral subtraction method. The method first dynamically adjusts spectral subtraction coefficient according to the power spectrum of each speech frame, then transforms all kinds of noises to the noises similar to white noise by Weiner filter, and finally removes the noises by the traditional spectral subtraction method. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method is much effective on removing noise.

    This paper presents an autoadaptive filtering algorithm of license plate location in low illumination condition, the method first devises an improved × shape adaptive window median filter algorithm for gray image plate median filtering to filter noise. Followed by Sobel edge detector for edge detection of plate; then transfers the results of Sobel convolution operator with the Otsu method and the method based on fuzzy theory seeking image presegment threshold. Then the image is divided into target and background, and the paper uses fuzzy partition method transfering final segmentation threshold into binary edge map, then morphological closing operation is used to form a number of closed area. Finally this paper introduces one kind of search labeled connected component analysis method to remove the region which does not meet the license plate features, and thus to promote the accuracy of license plate location in the low illumination condition.

    This paper presents a mosaic detection algorithm of video image based on grid expansion. The algorithm traverses the image pixels with the way of gridbased expansion, and quickly finds the rectangular area with similar pixels in image, which is the mosaic. The result shows that this algorithm is of high efficiency while ensuring a high accuracy, meeting the functional and performance requirements of mosaic detection of video image.

    :With the improvement of substation automatic level, video surveillance systems are widely used in substations. In order to improve the intelligent level of monitoring and timely detect abnormalities, an identification method of abnormal patterns of surveillance video in unmanned substation environment is proposed. Object classification is implemented in substation environment video surveillance (related to people, animals, ordinary flames (red and yellow flames), white flames, and so on). Then people are tracked and the trajectory is depicted. Multiple features are extracted for classified objects. Hierarchical classifier structure is generated from the confusion matrix. Support vector machine (SVM) is used as the basic binary classifier. Experiment of using actual video data is implemented. Experimental results show that the proposed method can get a better recognition for people, animals and flame, track people and eliminate interferences such as the impact of incandescent lamps. It can provide the necessary conditions for fire alarm and steal precaution in unattended substation.

    With increasingly sophisticated laser applications in industry and science, characterizing the intensity distribution of the laser beam has become a more and more important task. It’s necessary to separate the main effective area in laser spot. The spot should be fixed on a regular area. In general, the laser spot is almost circular, so the processing method by the concept of “circle” is a reasonable option. Hough Transform (HT) has long been known to be an efficient technique for detecting a line and a circle in digital image processing. To locate a circular area by HT, the edge of the laser spot should be checked at first by Canny edgedetection method. The paper proposes an algorithm for laser spot area location. Based on the image data of a laser spot, Canny edge detection and the Hough Transform are used in this method. Finally, the experimental results show that the approach can separate the principal effective area in a real laser beam efficiently.

    Using multidirection and shiftinvariance characteristics of all phase directional filter bank, an multifocus image fusion algorithm using waveletbased all phase directional filter bank transform is proposed. First the waveletbased all phase directional filter bank transformation to the different focusing image is made, then the weighted averaging operator is used to carry on the fusion to the low frequency coefficient, the local variance criterion is used to carry on the fusion to each direction high frequency coefficient. Finally, to reconstruct the coefficient of fusion, the fusion image in which the high and low frequency proportion elevates is obtained. The experiment results show that, the method significantly reduces the RMSE value, improves the PSNR value, and makes that the fused image is of good effect.

    OGRE is a popular opensource 3D graphic rendering engine. To improve the efficiency of implementing character animation, standard BVH files should be exploited to reduce the workload of intermediate transformation. The structure functions of the BVH files is used to parse the animation data and the parsed data, which is loaded directly to the memory, and then realtime rendering is implemented in OGRE engine. The experiment results demonstrate that parsed BVH files can successfully drive the model, obtaining vivid and brilliant 3D rendering effect.

    A new adaptive filter based on wavelet transform is designed. First, the original signal is decomposed by wavelet transform and the wavelet coefficients with main noises are canceled. Second, the reconstruction signal is selected as the original input of the adaptive filter and the wavelet coefficients with main noises are selected as the reference input of the adaptive filter. The experimental results show that this method is of bigger SNR and satisfied denoising result. Finally, less computation of the method is very suitable for computing DCG signal with large amounts of data. 

    In order to solve effectively the problem of dynamic distancemeasuring on moving vehicle, this paper discusses the general design scheme based on dynamic distancemeasuring system for moving vehicle. This paper uses ultrasonic wave propagation reflex obstacles principle in the air, and ultrasonic probe as interface unit, AT89S8252 singlechip microcomputer as core to calculate the ultrasonic transmission time in the air, and convert it to the corresponding distance to realize dynamic ranging. Through hardware design, it can realize realtime display for the distance between the car and the adjacent car. It can realize sound and light alarm if the distance is too close. After the software programming and simulation, the results show that hardware and software design of the system is reasonable, antijamming ability is powerful, realtime performance is good, and it is of high precision. Through expansion and promotion, the system can be widely used in different ranging occasions with its high ratio of performance and cost. 

    Confidence Measure (CM) plays an important role in speech recognition system, which serves as a postprocessing module to detect recognition error and reject outofvocabulary (OOV) words, based on the recognition results and corresponding information. This paper presents two methods to improve the performance of CM in constrained command word speech recognition system. The first one is phone dependent score normalization based on Gaussian Mixture Model (GMM). And in the other method, some durationbased features are introduced to complement the traditional CM features. The experiments on Mandarin and English databases show that both methods can achieve significantly improvement in CM performance, comparing to the baseline CM system. Furthermore, these two methods can complement each other in performance.

    Position System is the necessary condition for navigation and avoiding obstacle, only when position is correct that can prevent barrier exactly and navigate. Therefore, position system is the essential part. This paper describes the position system of TYIRVI, which consists of GPS, magnetic compass and optical encoders. GPS can provide precise absolute position, but the signals of GPS can be interrupted by obstruction. The CompassEncoder Position System computes the position using dead reckoning, which has a good performance in short distance, but problem exists due to accumulated error over long distance. With the integration of GPS and CompassEncoder Position System, the system may achieve the advantages of both without many of the limitations of either. The system is tested on TYIRVI and demonstrated its good performance.

    In order to prevent the Web browser from visiting Web pages and Web sites which contain pornographic images, a software framework on Windows client for filtering pornographic Web images is designed.The framework is based on Layered Service Provider of Winsock 2, and it is valid for both IEkernelbased browsers and nonIEkernelbased browsers, overcoming the defect of BHObased software which is merely valid for IEkernelbased browsers. Testing result shows that the software can filter pornographic Web images effectively. The framework is of reference value for the development of similar software.

    This paper analyzes the evolution phases of network public opinion that is very important for studying the law of evolution of network public opinion. The evolution of network public opinion is very complicated, so it is very difficult to decide how many phases of evolution of network public opinion should be divided. For the convenience of study, the paper presents the evolution of network public opinion by three phases: the initial spreading phase, fast diffusing phase and fading phase. And according to these three phases, this paper analyzes the evolution phases of network public opinion. This paper analyzes constitution and influence factors of network public opinion at the beginning, then presents the changes of all the factors during the three phases in detail. This paper tries to give a quantitative analysis of changes in the factors to be useful to study the law of the evolution of network public opinion. 
