Abstract:  Establishing conceptual model is one of the important steps of database design, E-R model is a conceptual model widely used in database design. This paper proposes the use of business analysis process of the formation of the data flow diagram, data flow diagram is a directed graph abstraction to construct methods E-R model. In large systems, database design process, using this method can quickly build E-R model topical application, greatly reduce the design process to build a database E-R model time-consuming. In addition, the paper also gives an example to verify, illustrates the practicality and effectiveness of this method in practical engineering projects.
