云数据中心基于能耗感知的虚拟机调度算法

Virtual Machine Scheduling Algorithm Based on Energy-Aware in Cloud Data Center

摘要:

针对云数据中心的高能耗问题,提出一种基于能耗感知的虚拟机调度算法VMSA_EA,该算法考虑在降低云数据中心能耗的同时,还考虑如何降低虚拟机迁移成本,VMSA_EA算法将云数据中心的虚拟机调度分成2个阶段:虚拟机部署和虚拟机迁移,对于不同的阶段使用不同的算法进行求解。实验结果表明,VMSA_EA能够对云数据中心虚拟资源进行高效的调度与管理;相比同类算法,VMSA_EA在降低能耗的同时可有效地降低虚拟机迁移成本。

Abstract:

We propose a virtual machine scheduling algorithm based on energy consumption (VMSA_EA) for high energy consumption problem in cloud data center. The algorithm not only considers how to reduce energy consumption, but also considers how to reduce the cost of virtual machine migration. The virtual machine scheduling in cloud data center is divided into two stages by using VMSA_EA algorithm: virtual machine deployment and virtual machine migration. In different stages we use different algorithms to solve it. Experimental results show that VMSA_EA can schedule and manage effectively and VMSA_EA can better reduce energy consumption and the cost of virtual machine migration compared to other similar algorithms.
