Visualization of 3D Virtual Campus Based on osgEarth

摘要: 针对校园环境情况复杂,模拟困难等问题,本文运用osgEarth三维地理信息系统实现虚拟校园的建设和功能开发。以南昌航空大学前湖校区为例,选择建模精度高的MultiGen Creator作为建模工具进行三维场景模型的创建,利用具有分析功能的osgEarth作为仿真平台进行特定功能的二次开发。通过建立数字地球,使用遥感影像数据、高程数据和三维模型数据实现南昌航空大学前湖校区三维虚拟场景的可视化及功能构建。该技术在学校的招生就业、宣传教育、对外交流等方面具有重要作用。

Abstract: Aiming at the complex campus environment and difficult simulation, this article uses osgEarth three-dimensional geographic information system to realize the construction and function development of virtual campus. Taking the Qianhu campus of Nanchang Hangkong University as an example, MultiGen Creator with high modeling accuracy is selected as the modeling tool to create the 3D scene model, and osgEarth with analysis function is used as the simulation platform for the secondary development of specific functions. By building a digital earth, using remote sensing image data, elevation data and 3D models, the visualization and function construction of the 3D virtual scene of the Qianhu campus of Nanchang Hangkong University is realized. The technology plays an important role in school admissions, employment, publicity, education, foreign exchange and other aspects.
