Design of Teaching Video Service Platform Based on Streaming Media Technology

摘要: 针对现有网络教学课程制作成本高、制作周期长的问题,设计基于流媒体技术的教学视频服务平台,教师可在完成课堂教学任务的同时进行课程直播和课程制作。本文平台采用Java SSM模式实现课程和直播计划的灵活编排,通过Wowza流媒体服务器完成课程的直播和点播。经实际应用,本平台实现了部分MOOC课程的制作,系统运行稳定,效果良好,为学生提供了一种新的学习途径,进一步提高了教学水平。

Abstract: Aiming at the high cost and long production period of current online courses, a teaching video service platform based on streaming media technology is designed. Teachers can carry on the course live broadcast and make the course videos while giving their face-to-face lectures or workshop. This paper adopts Java SSM architecture to implement the course videos making and to guarantee the flexibility of broadcasting plan. Wowza streaming media server is utilized to realize the live and on-demand function of the teaching platform. After putting this platform into practical use, we make and transfer some courses on MOOC and provide a new way for students to learn. And the platform works stably and well. It is also beneficial to the improvement of teachers’ teaching skills.
