Research and Design of EPON Network Alarm Management System Based on SNMP

Abstract

Abstract: This paper firstly introduces the SNMP network management model, then describes EPON technology. At last, discusses the steps of alarm management, and based on this, an alarm management system is designed. This alarm management system can quickly locate alarm, then submits for the alarm by the dialog box, and filters out alarm according to the requirement of the users, and finally administrator processes them.

