Abstract:

To meet access requirements to electronic medical records on iPad and other mobile terminals, this paper proposes an electronic medical records reading system based on Web Service, using serviceoriented architecture and XML(Extensible Markup Language) technology, which aims at good interoperability and crossplatform ability. The electronic medical records reading system integrates No.1 Military Medical Project and EMR (Electronic Medical Record) system seamlessly, provides crossplatform access mode to EMR system on iPad. Doctors can get access to clinical diagnosis information of patient on the bedside through wireless network with iPad; benefits are significant since the platform is put into use. 
