A Performance Optimization Schema for Huge Load Sakai System

Abstract:

To address the problem that server failed and QoS declined in Sakai system when a large number of users participate, a Linuxbased high availability cluster solutions
is proposed. This schema achieved high loadbalancing by HAProxy, Hotstandby mechanisms as ActiveStandby and ActiveActive were built for servers. A masterslave, read
write separated MySQL architecture was proposed, and it achieved high concurrent read database service. Experiments show that this schema has good effects in load balancing and
database performance.
