Abstract: With the development of information technology, E-commerce is springing up. As the mainstream of E-commerce, B2C(Business to Consumer) has occupied a considerable market share in global online-shopping trade. In order to provide a more user-friendly B2C E-commerce website and enhance the interests of enterprises, it is essential to make a detailed demand analysis and design. Therefore, the essay analyses the demand of a B2C E-commerce website through the perspective of customers, the inner enterprises and the network marketing, divides each function module as well as analyses the business flow and data flow. Based on the demand analysis, the whole design of the system focuses on the relational database design process of user, shopping cart and goods. In combination with the search engine optimization, it is more conducive to explore potential customer. Furthermore, it plays a guiding role in the website maintenance and development in the long run.
