Massive Spatial Data Parallel Processing Technology for Vector Tiles

Abstract: With the development of map mapping technology, the amount of original map data shows an explosive growth, and there is a higher demand for the spatial and temporal efficiency of map data processing. Aiming at this demand, this paper proposes a two-level parallel processing technique for vector tiles that include vector data cut-plan parallelism and vector tile upload parallelism. The experimental results show that this processing technique has a significant effect on improving the efficiency of vector data cropping and vector tile uploading. In the efficient processing of massive vector data, the proposed method is feasible.
