Abstract: The researches on the risk assessment of community correction staffs stay in the stage of theoretical at present. Most of models are lack of the support of actual data. For easy to master the actual situation of community correction, based on the CART (Classification and Regression Trees) algorithm, this article analyzes the community correction staff data (excluding sensitive information) for modeling. Besides, via the basic characteristics of prisoners, we get the prisoners risk assessment results, and the accuracy is 85% to 90% compared to the actual results. In addition, this paper discusses the lack of the data in the community correction and proposes several solutions.
