Abstract: Withthedevelopmentofscienceandtechnology,therecognitionoftrafficsignsforunpilotedvehicleisbecomingmoreandmorepractical.Andthemostpopularmethodtorecognizethetrafficsignistousetheconvolutionalneuralnetwork.Theexperimentismadebasedonthismethod.Afterthecollectionofactualtrafficsignsimagedata,weusethehistogram-equalizationandothermethodstoachieveimagepreprocessingandconstitutethetrainingsetandtestset.ThenwebuildtheconvolutionneuralnetworkofLeNet5bythetrainingset,andusethetestsettotesttheaccuracyofthemodel.Inthefirstexperiment,therecognitionaccuracyofthemodelishigherthanothertraditionalidentificationmethods,butonly87.5%.Aftertheadjustmentoftheneuralnetwork’sbatchsize,theconvolutionkernel,thenumberoftrainingandotheraspects,therecognitionaccuracyisincreasedto93.2%.
