Abstract: Aimingatthegapbetweensubwayscreendoorandtraindoor,thereisahiddendangerofaccidentinsubwayoperationbecauseofthepinch-in,andadetectionmethodbasedonmetrostationsurfaceisproposed.ThismethodimprovestheefficiencyandaccuracyofthedetectionbyemployingamanualconstructionoftheopticalbackgroundandusingtheHSVcolorspace.Thealgorithmusesthemethodtoextractthetargetimageofthecartaillightwiththecameraofthevehiclehead,anddetermineswhetherthereisspatialforeignbodyinthegapbetweenthecarbodyandthescreendoorbycalculatingthecompletenessofthetarget.Experimentsonrealvideodatashowthattheproposedalgorithmhasgoodrobustnesstolightchangesandcandetectvariousforeignobjectsaccuratelyandcanassistthedriverinmakingdecisionsbeforedriving.
