Abstract: To solve the problem that document issues collecting after document review is greatly tedious, this paper proposes an auto-exporting method for Word review comments. Based on VSTO, it extends the function of MS Word to realize the user-defined comment auto-exporting. The presented screening-locating algorithm realizes a more accurate locating for each comment. The comment’s location description is generated automatically when exporting. All the comments are exported into a review report. With the exporting content and description format specified, the auto-generated comment description can be used by tester directly when collecting and storing document issues. The auto-exporting method simplifies the process of document issues collecting greatly.
