PID Controller of Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor Based #br# on Improved Particle Swarm Optimization Algorithm

Abstract: In order to improve the control precision of the permanent magnet synchronous motor system, this paper puts forward a permanent magnet synchronous motor PID controller based on improved particle swarm optimization algorithm. Firstly, the mathematical model of permanent magnet synchronous motor is established, and then the improved particle swarm optimization algorithm is used to optimize the parameters of PID controller and to realize the online identification of permanent magnet synchronous motor parameters, finally the simulation experiment is used to test its performance. The simulation results show that compared with the traditional PID controller, the proposed PID controller can improve the system response performance, and can obtain a good stability, robustness and dynamic performance for the permanent magnet synchronous motor.
