Abstract: With the rapid development of information technology, cluster analysis methods are more and more widely applied in customer classification. This paper with the help of SPSS Clementine 12.0 software, uses two-step cluster analysis approach to do a cluster analysis for Academia Resource Planning project (ARP) system users. This paper summarizes the characteristics of various types of users, analyses the reasons for the clustering results, and proposes concrete solutions to existing problems for different users. The purpose of the paper is to better perform user management, build customer relationships, and thus provide a reference for enhancing the system performance and service levels.
