Improved Algorithm for Cell Microscopic Image Segmentation

Abstract: The development of modern medical science requires automation, efficiency and humanization, and the image segmentation technology is widely applied in this field. In this paper, an improved method derived from Otsu algorithm is put forward, according to the characteristics of the cell microscopic image. The algorithm is to achieve multiple segmentation, and improve its feasibility, effectiveness and applicability. The simulation results show that the performance of the improved algorithm is superior to Otsu algorithm.
