一种精确的运动目标外轮廓提取方法

An Accurate Method for Extracting External Contours of Moving Objects

摘要: 视频监控系统中的运动目标外轮廓是对运动目标语义分析的重要信息源。针对经过简单的形态学处理运动目标区域而提取的外轮廓方法中的一些缺陷,提出一种更精确的方法。首先通过前景检测得到粗略确定的运动目标区域,然后通过分水岭方法进行外轮廓区域粗略定位,最后通过阴影去除及目标重构进行外轮廓区域精确定位,从而提取精确的外轮廓。利用外轮廓的准确率、查全率、综合性能指标,实验结果表明,能够得到精确的外轮廓。

Abstract: The external contours of moving objects are important information sources for semantic analysis of moving objects in video surveillance system. For some defects of external contours through simple morphological processing of moving objects area, a more accurate method is proposed. Firstly, a roughly determined moving objects area is got through foreground detection. Secondly, the external contours area is roughly localized through the watershed method. Finally, the external contours area is accurately localized to extract accurate external contours through shadow removal and object reconstruction. By using the accuracy rate, recall rate and comprehensive performance norm, the experimental results show that it could get more accurate external contours.
