Abstract:

his paper presents a domain ontologybased Bayesian network retrieval model for the problem which can not achieve

semantic understanding of user’s queries and low efficiency in retrieval by traditional information retrieval methods.

First, uses the user’s queries to get the semantic expansion through domain ontology; second, the expanded queries as

evidence are spreaded in the Bayesian network retrieval model and get query results. It is shown that the proposed Bayesian

network retrieval model can improve the retrieval performance through the experiments.

