Abstract: The traditional automatic problem building system’s interface is relatively complicated, needs to manually set up a lot of information on the topic. Considering these shortcomings, this paper presents the design and implementation of automatic topic building system for Excel operation test. When using this system, the teachers only need to operate the Excel document in a right way at frist. Then, the questions information can be generated automatically by comparing the original document and the revised document properties. Compared with the traditional system, the system’s interface is simpler and the system is of a high degree of automation. So it can really generate questions automatically.

