Abstract: As an open source software for Linux system, TC is a traffic control tool with powerful and superior performance, and it’s as good as those professional equipments of flow control. This article introduces the concept and function of the main components of TC, and the relationship between these components and how they work coordinately, then explains the design process of a method by an example. The example can help to understand the high flexibility and powerful features of TC.
