Research on Secure Data Aggregation in Wireless Sensor Network

Abstract: Data aggregation is one of the most important solutions to the limit-resourced problem in wireless sensor network (WSN) by eliminating information redundancy and increasing the lifetime of the network, and widely used in WSN currently. However, WSN has the native trait of deploying in the open area, particularly in the hostile area, which means potential security threat in WSN. Consequently, in the implementation of data aggregation in WSN, the data is prone to security attacks. The thesis aims to discuss how to ensure the security of data aggregation, then focuses on secure data aggregation based on homomorphic encryption schemes, and makes introduction respectively on typical private and public homomorphic encryption algorithms, finally introduces a secure data aggregation application based on a public homomorphic encryption algorithm in WSN.
