Abstract

Abstract: Workflow management system is the key module to achieve the process automation of various information management systems. This paper proposes a workflow metamodel and the workflow modeling approach based on this metamodel, and also implements a component based workflow management system which supports the workflow modeling process and provides the workflow execution environment. This system can be integrated into external system as a component.
