Abstract

Abstract: Technical illustration management is an important component of IETM authoring. This paper introduces the present situation and development tendency at home and abroad, establishes a total structure and function of a technical illustration management subsystem. The subsystem can implement illustration database build, illustration management, illustration reference and preview in IETM. Emphasize researches the mechanism of illustration reference, puts forward a new method of the integration between SGML/XML editor and technical illustration management subsystem, gives the description and solution of the key process.
